Though we had originally wanted to do a holiday party at a local rooftop hotel, we decided it would be too chilly for a December evening and opted instead for a smaller potluck for just members. Janie Thomas and her 49 1/2er, Justin, graciously offered their home just under the final approach to Santa Monica Airport. We loved seeing the planes fly overhead into KSMO.
