Who We Are

The Los Angeles 99s is a chapter of the Ninety-Nines® International Organization of Women Pilots® with members at all levels of flying experience to promote women in aviation through camaraderie, scholarships, and education.

What We Do

  • Scholarships — financial support for women pursuing flight and aviation careers
  • Mentorship — pairing aspiring pilots with experienced aviators
  • Outreach & Education — youth aviation programs and public engagement
  • Community Events — fly-ins, speaker series, and networking

The NINETY-NINES® INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF WOMEN PILOTS® promotes advancement of aviation through education, scholarships, and mutual support while honoring our unique history and sharing our passion for flight.

Established in 1929 by 99 women pilots, the members of The Ninety-Nines, Inc.®, International Organization of Women Pilots®, are represented in all areas of aviation today. And, to quote Amelia, fly “for the fun of it!”
