International Offerings

The Ninety-Nines International funds a number of Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarships at various levels of flight instruction, including:

• FLY NOW Scholarship – Awards up to $6,000 to student pilots toward completion of recreational, sport, or private pilot certificate.
• Flight Training Scholarship – Advanced training, additional ratings (ex. Multi-engine rating, commercial certificate, etc.)
• Academic Scholarship – One year of a college degree in aviation or aerospace (ex. Bachelors, masters, air traffic management, etc.). Students may re-apply for continuing support.
• Technical Training Scholarship – Aviation or aerospace technical training or certification course. (ex. ATP, Mechanic, Dispatcher certificate, ATC training, etc.)
• Vicki Cruse Memorial Emergency Maneuver Training Scholarship – Provide emergency maneuver and spin training and introduction to aerobatics.
• Kitty Houghton Memorial Scholarship – International scholarship offered to encourage women in developing countries to pursue a career in aviation.
• Research Scholar Grants – completion of research requirements for an advanced degree, in the advancement of aviation and aerospace.
