 Overview

The annual Palms to Pines Air Race takes place each summer, with teams flying from Santa Monica to central Oregon (approximately 750 statute miles). The race ran consecutively for 40 years from 1969-2009, making it the longest-running all-female air race. In 2022, the Los Angeles 99s Chapter revived the air race with participants from all over the west-coast.
